Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of www.pixelproxymedia.com and to the editing services Pixel Proxy Media provides. Pixel Proxy Media is a sole proprietorship owned by Nikhil, based at 5th Pushta Marg, Sonia Vihar, New Delhi 110094, India ("we", "us"). By using the website or engaging us, you ("you", "the client") agree to these terms. If you have a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.
1. The website
You may browse the website and share links to it. You may not copy, download or reuse its design, text, graphics, code or the client videos shown on it without our written permission. The client videos shown remain the property of those clients.
2. How an engagement starts
An engagement starts when you accept our quote or choose a package, and we receive your first payment. The package, volume and price confirmed at that point, by email or invoice, set the scope of work.
3. Packages and scope
- Our packages are described on the website: number of videos per month, maximum length per video, revision rounds and editing level. Custom packages are set out in your quote.
- Each video includes the revision rounds stated in your package (currently 2). A revision round is one set of consolidated feedback on a draft. Extra rounds, or changes after a video is approved, may be charged separately.
- Monthly deliverables are for that billing period. Unused deliverables do not roll over to the next period unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Work outside your package, such as longer videos, extra formats or rush delivery, is quoted separately before we start.
4. What we need from you
- Raw footage, audio, scripts, brand assets and access you need us to use, delivered in a usable format.
- Clear, consolidated feedback within 7 days of each draft. If we do not hear back, the draft may be treated as approved.
- Confirmation that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us. This includes the right to use the faces, voices and names of anyone who appears, and any music, logos or third-party material. You are responsible for that material.
Delays in sending material or feedback move our delivery dates by the same amount of time.
5. Delivery
We deliver finished files digitally, for example through Google Drive or a download link. Turnaround times on the website are typical, not guaranteed, unless your quote states a fixed deadline.
6. Fees and payment
- Prices are in US dollars unless your invoice says otherwise. They do not include taxes, bank or payment-provider fees, which are added where they apply.
- Packages are paid in advance, monthly or quarterly. Quarterly plans include the discount shown at the time you buy.
- Payment is due by the date on the invoice. If a payment is more than 7 days late, we may pause work until it is paid.
- Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Ownership of the work
- Once your payment for a period is complete, you own the final edited videos we deliver to you for that period. You can use them anywhere, without limit.
- We keep ownership of our working files, project files, templates, presets, graphics systems and methods, unless we agree in writing to hand over project files.
- Stock footage, music, fonts and sound effects we add are licensed for use in your video under their own licence terms. They may not be reused separately.
8. Portfolio
We will only show your videos on our website, social channels or in pitches with your written permission. You can withdraw permission at any time, and we will remove the work from our website within 7 days.
9. Confidentiality
We keep your unreleased material, business information and results confidential. We share it only with team members who work on your project, under the same duty. This does not cover information that is already public.
10. No guarantee of results
We edit to a high standard, but we do not guarantee views, followers, sales, leads or any other result. Performance depends on many things outside our control, including platforms, algorithms, your offer and your audience.
11. Third-party platforms
You are responsible for following the rules of the platforms where you publish, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or ad networks, including their rules on music and claims.
12. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
- We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or reputational harm.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
13. Your responsibility for material you send
You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses if a third party makes a claim against us because of material you sent us or asked us to use, for example footage, music or claims you did not have the right to use.
14. Ending an engagement
- You can cancel as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Either of us may end the engagement straight away if the other seriously breaches these terms and does not fix it within 7 days of being told.
- When an engagement ends, you pay for work completed up to that point, and we deliver all paid, finished work.
15. Events outside our control
Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, such as power or internet outages, natural disasters or platform failures. We will tell you as soon as possible and agree a new timeline.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, we will both try to settle any dispute in good faith by email or call within 30 days.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on the website on the date you start or renew a package applies to that period.
